Description
It ‘ a family of lamps available in three modes of use(suspension, floor and table).
The bells are made of drawn steel and 3D laser cut decoration. The shape and decorations recall a vegetable weave, the rush of a lobster pot of fishermen, or, at the same time, the straw of a Panama hat: a synthesis between modernity and collective imagination. Through the texture of the chinks the direct light – emitted from halo and fluo source – is diffused into the environment. Capri is varnished on the inside with a white matt finish, and on the outside with a white or black glossy finish. The cable in PVC/FEP is covered with a coloured textile (red/black/white).
Materials
It is a family of table, floor and suspension lamps. The bells – that come in three different sizes – are made of spinned aluminium and are laser-cut following a pattern that resembles a vegetable twine, the cane used to make fishing traps or straw hats: a synthesis of modernity and Mediterranean imaginary. Direct light is spread in the environment through the holes that create the lamp’s pattern. The bells are painted with glossy finishes outside and with a white satin finish inside. The supply cable is made of PVC/FEP coated with black fabric. The stem and the base of both table and floor lamps are made of painted steel.
